 As foretold
 
 The end of the world
 
 Is nigh

As announced
 
 As declared
 
 We are doomed
 
 And goin to die

As suspected
 
 As we thought
 
 The world is still
 
 Intact

As believed
 
 As we hoped
 
 The world keeps spinning
 
 Fact

(you can breath out now)

Yet how do we know
 
 How can we tell
 
 Which way is heaven
 
 Which way hell

And how do we judge
 
 How do we make certain
 
 The end of the world
 
 Didn’t actually happen?
