The M Word : the honest Blog!

This is the only Blog where I will use the word menopause, I decided to write this as honestly as I can for two reasons. One, to sort my head out and accept what is going on, and two to try to find the balance again. Wikepedia defines it as … Menopause is the cessation of a woman’s reproductive ability, the opposite of menarche. Strength and Characters : Strong Woman? She is you!

So a strong woman, who is she? What does she look like? What makes her who she is? I asked the question and the answers, and images, I got back were wide and varied. “Someone who knows who she and is not afraid to be it”. “A woman who has the strength to be herself” “A woman who can hold her own with dignity when she gets that condescending get back to the kitchen sink look” “A woman who can wear her trainers with a dress and still be taken seriously in a meeting” It would se

I say, It’s in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomena

I say, It’s in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.” — Maya Angelou In memory of John who gave me this poem  to remind me of who I am and that no matter what I do or change, I am still a phenomenal woman! No
